21 Days of Awesomeness!

147 days. That’s how long it has been since I did a blog post. And it’s not like I haven’t been thinking of my little corner of the web. I most definitely have…promise! I have so many posts swirling around my head, things I want to say, experiences I want to share, questions I want to ask.

The last 147 days have been some of the best days ever for me! I’ve loved being a stay at home mom. I’ve loved getting to know my little man, watching him grow and develop in leaps and bounds since he came home forever. It’s been the most amazing, rewarding time. I’ve had so much fun playing with him during the day, settling into “our” routine, adjusting to this new way of life, that by the time it is bed time for Noah, it is also bed time for mommy! Sadly, my blog has been a bit neglected as a result.

But, as of today, I am hoping that this will change! Recently, the lovely Jane from GI Jane invited me to her Facebook event, 21 Days of Awesomness. In a nutshell, it takes 21 days to form a habit. And the challenge for this is to choose something you want to start doing/give up/re-start doing…once you have identified something (it can be more than one thing), commit to working on it for the next 21 days, so it will become a habit. Even if it is just 10 minutes a day, do it. And on days you can do more, then do it. At the same time, on the days where you simply cannot fit it in, that’s ok. The point is to make a concerted effort to try. And you choose what you want to focus on, to help you feel awesome.

I was so excited to join in, and I knew exactly what I wanted to do for my 21 day challenge. I have committed to working on my blog everyday, for the next 21 days. I won’t necessarily be posting every single day. But, each day I will do something…whether it is a new post, planning posts, coming up with ideas, working on the actual site. Something every day. And I’m so excited! I cannot wait to get back into it!

Are you taking part in the 21 Days of Awesomeness challenge? What are you going to be doing? I’d love to hear how your experience goes!
